(Our Little Pirates)
(Richards Cousins)
OUR FUN-FILLED, SUGAR-FILLED, HALLOWEEN EVENTS:
12pm
Maya's Class Halloween Party
I was in charge of the game, so Nick came along to be my little helper and we played "Don't Eat Jack!" with all the kids. (A Jack-o-Lantern version of the game "Don't Eat Pete!")
Here's the template I used for the gameboard, I got it from thecraftingchicks.com
You can use this game to entertain the kids for any holiday.
If its just our family, we use M&M's or other little candies to put on each square, but when we play it for classroom parties I use individually wrapped candies to avoid spreading germs.
Thanksgiving-Turkeys(Don't Eat Tom!)
Christmas-Reindeer/Santas(Don't Eat Rudolph!/Don't Eat Santa!)
Valentines Day(Don't Eat Cupid!)
St Patrick's Day (Don't Eat the Leprachaun!)
Easter (Don't Eat the Bunny!)
Anyway...you get the idea!
5pm
Potluck and photo op at Uncle Joel's house with the Richards cousins.
7pm
Chili & Donuts at Grandpa Bill's and Trick or Treating with cousins
8pm
The AMAZING Pumpkin Display at Stevenson's (Owners of J&J's)
Left on 3200 West in Layton off Gentile Street...same road as bird refuge. So if you missed it last night, they're on display until tonight! It's a MUST SEE! They have at least 100 pumpkins and spend hours and hours carving them for Halloween every year! It's amazing!
9pm
ZZZzzzz all the way home back to American Fork...except for mom who was the designated driver.
10pm
Put on our jammies, brushed our teeth, washed Halloween make-up off and hit the hay....with visions of Halloween candy still dancing in our heads and tummies.
Hope you all had a SPOOKY & FUN Halloween!:)
