What a great day we had yesterday! We kicked it off with a free breakfast at the local grocery store, they had pancakes, juice, sausage, and watermelon. Yum! Then we headed over to Kaysville to watch "Miss Maya" in the parade. She looked so darling in her little dance uniform and she had so much fun riding on the float with the other girls. They ate candy, waved, and giggled as they were being sprayed with water throughout the parade route. She can't wait for the Farmington parade, so she can ride on the float again. I will have to post some pictures tomorrow when I can get my camera working. Then we went to Gramma & Grampa's house for a BBQ and at 10pm we went over to Davis High and watched the fireworks...even "Lil' Nick enjoyed them...it was his first look at Fireworks and he was in awe! Holidays make me feel young again...that's the joy of having kids...you get to be a kid all over again as you make childhood memories for them too! Hope ya'll had a fabulous 4th!
