Love this band photo of George. His hair had not been cut for awhile as you can see, but this is so his personality! He is the only guy in the flute section so of course all the girls are holding him up in the picture! What a flirt! I'm sure he loved every second of it! Haha! All the other guys in drumline and brass used to make fun of him for playing the flute and now they think he is one smart cookie!:) He says the tubas are his biggest fans.

We are hoping that next year George will set another goal of becoming a section leader. His section leader paid him a really great compliment telling him that he has a "really beautiful tone and is a very determined and hard worker with a great attitude." (Wish he was this good with his chores and homework!) He also passed off his music on time. This is George's first year in Marching Band and everyone has said this year has been the hardest music and show to learn, so we are very proud of him!

yes and he loves giving the girls a hard time when they are talking their "girl talk". Like the day his section leader asked if any of them had an extra tampon on hand, and George without skipping a beat said, "Nope, sorry."
He should carry one and it would make their eyes pop out when he was able to hand it over.
