I went grocery shopping for a few things to put in Maya's lunch she's taking on a class fieldtrip to Highland Farms tomorrow. Before we left, the kids asked if we could get a treat to take home. Since we all love icecream, we went over to the icecream isle, and low and behold, we found one of our favorite flavors this time of year...Dryer's Slow-Churned Light Pumpkin Icecream! I also bought some soft oatmeal raisin cookies from the bakery, so when we got home, I had this BRILLIANT idea! Let's combine them BOTH and make icecream sandwiches!
PLUS
= HEAVEN
So if you're looking for a quick, easy, Fall dessert you can make in a pinch...VOILA! These would be fun for a Family Home Evening Treat too! Even tastier are the oatmeal raisin cookies from Winco and they also carry Dryer's! Another yummy fall dessert is yellow cake mix pumpkin cobbler. I made it one time for a Fall Girl's Night potluck and served it with the pumpkin icecream...everyone RAVED about it.
